Crazy Dreams and Unique Bucket List Goals
When it comes to bucket lists, many people fill them with traditional travel aspirations. However, my bucket list includes a mix of exciting, unique, and even seemingly crazy goals. Here, I will share some of the craziest things that catch my imagination and inspire me to pursue them.
Getting Knighted by the Queen
One of my more ambitious dreams is to get knighted by the next in line to the British throne. There are various Orders of Chivalry in the United Kingdom, and I admire the Ancient Order of the Thistle, reserved for the most prestigious of dignitaries. The honor would not only symbolize recognition for my contributions but also be a remarkable achievement in its own right.
Securing Multiple Nobel Prizes
Another entry on my bucket list is to win a Nobel Prize. Better yet, I dream of earning three of these prestigious awards. While impressively difficult to achieve, the thought of adding a Nobel laureate title to my biography drives me forward. The idea of being recognized for groundbreaking work in science, literature, or peace pushes the boundaries of what is commonly seen on a bucket list.
Embarking on Global Journeys and Personal Wishes
Travel remains a prominent part of my bucket list. I aspire to take several trips to different parts of the world and circumnavigate the globe at least once. In addition to the travel, I want to grant my children each a "biggest wish," even if it seems far-fetched. This dream stems from the desire that when they become capable of pursuing these wishes, they won't hesitate due to their current lack of experience.
Earning an Honorary Doctorate and Enjoying Leisurely Cruises
Academic achievements also make the cut. I aim to earn an honorary PhD from a well-regarded institution, providing me with recognition for my contributions, even if they are not directly from my own research. Until then, I hope to enjoy a leisurely cruise to warmer climes during retirement. However, time seems to be a limiting factor for my academic pursuits.
Experiencing Extreme Thrills
Adrenaline and excitement are key motivators in my list. I fantasize about riding in a supersonic fighter jet, experiencing the rush of close to supersonic speed. Additionally, I have the dream of skydiving and floating in a hot air balloon, both experiences that fill me with a mix of fear and joy. Who wouldn't love the thrill of throwing out a pitch at a Major League Baseball game, or designing a skyscraper, even if someone else does most of the work?
Aiming for Grander Goals
The bucket list is also home to some longer-shot dreams, such as being the catalyst to end climate change alarmism or solving the most profound mysteries of the universe. While these are ambitious goals, they represent my aspirations for a better world. Lastly, the thought of becoming a scientist-turned-inventor, manifesting my LEGO ideas into reality, or even being the one to answer the question, "What is life, the universe, and everything?" fuels my dreams. These more abstract and existential goals make the list a little bit more outlandish but also more fulfilling.
In short, my bucket list is filled with a variety of crazy and unique goals. While I might not achieve them all, the pursuit of these dreams keeps me motivated and inspired. The craziest goals on my list not only represent my aspirations but also reflect my desire to contribute positively to the world in any way possible.
