The INTJ's Bucket List: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Fulfillment

As an INTJ, my bucket list is an evolving list of personal goals and aspirations that reflect my unique interests and values. For years, I have found great fulfillment in teaching highly motivated students and continue to do so with passion until my physical limitations no longer allow it. However, I don’t have a specific bucket list. Instead, each goal I set embodies a deeper level of personal growth and self-realization.

1. Hike New Zealand

New Zealand offers some of the most stunning and challenging hiking trails on the planet. As an INTJ, the thrill of conquering these trails is a powerful motivator for me. Each step on these trails provides me with a sense of accomplishment and a spark of excitement. The beauty of nature here, especially when combined with the serene setting, creates an experience that is deeply enriching and memorable.

2. Care for My Parents

My highest priority is ensuring that my parents are taken care of when they need me. This might involve traveling to visit them regularly, offering guidance, or simply being available. As an INTJ, I value the stability and security that family provides me. Knowing that I can be a source of comfort and support for my loved ones is incredibly fulfilling.

3. Become a Yoga Therapist

Yoga has always been a central part of my life, bringing me physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Becoming a yoga therapist would allow me to share this practice with others, particularly those who might benefit the most. This would be a way for me to contribute to the community and help others on their own paths of self-discovery and well-being.

4. Achieve Self-Realization and Enlightenment

For an INTJ, self-realization and enlightenment are ongoing processes. I am constantly seeking to understand the deeper meaning of life, my place in the world, and how to fully express my true self. These goals are not just about personal growth but also about contributing to the collective wisdom and understanding of others.

5. Die in Peace and Contentment

Dying with peace and contentment is a goal that resonates deeply with INTJs. It is about knowing that my life has been lived to the fullest, that I have made a difference, and that I have left a positive impact on the world. This goal is not just about the end but about the journey and the fulfillment that comes along with it.

6. Selfless Service to Others

As an INTJ, I believe in the power of selfless service to make a positive impact on society. This could take many forms, from volunteering at a local charity to mentoring young students. Every act of selfless service is an opportunity to contribute to the greater good, which aligns with my values and beliefs.

Additional Goals and Experiences

While the above items are primary focus areas, I have a few other goals that I aim to achieve. For instance, hiking from my farm down to the valley with my goats as the sun sets, enjoying a beautiful Mediterranean dinner with my wife under the stars, or trimming trees, planting, and building useful stuff at my humble abode.

Another goal is to potentially start a pig pen and acquire some goats as pets instead of a lawnmower. Becoming more self-reliant and going full solar are long-term dreams I aspire to fulfill. Additionally, I plan to continue hiking the Appalachian Trail, which is a monumental yet fulfilling endeavor for an introvert like me.

Alaska beckons as well, with its vast wilderness and stunning landscapes. Exploring Denali and gold panning in Vermont can be a tranquil and rewarding experience, especially reflective of my INTJ nature.

In conclusion, the INTJ's bucket list is a reflection of our unique values, aspirations, and perspectives on life. Each goal not only serves as a personal growth opportunity but also as a means to make a positive impact on the world around us.
