Tabitha found chicken and pork chop bones in a dumpster and couldn't resist them, leading to sad consequences. One evening, she was hit by a vehicle and never made it. The next day, I brought Carrara to the spot. She looked down at the grave, pawing at the dirt three times before moving on. A mother's love and a child's innocence still lingered, not unlike a scene from a tragic novel. This was the only time I saw something even close to grief in Carrara. Despite the severity of Tabitha’s loss, she was still able to move forward.
